What happened
The signature did not verify, the fingerprint did not match the enrolled key, or the signature was not raw r||s of 64 bytes. A session challenge is used up by the attempt.

What to do
Sign exactly the message the documentation gives, with the enrolled key, and send the raw 64-byte signature, not DER. For a session, request a new challenge first.

The body is application/problem+json. detail varies with the request; everything else is what you see here.
