What happened
The registry distributes npm packages, Cargo crates, platform binaries, OCI images and Native packages. Other package ecosystems are deliberately out of scope rather than not yet built.

What to do
Use one of the five supported protocols. If you need another ecosystem, that is a platform decision rather than a configuration one.

The body is application/problem+json. detail varies with the request; everything else is what you see here.
